AWANA (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed)
The AWANA program meets on Wednesday evenings between 6:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. This program is designed to promote teamwork via games and memorization of scripture for an individual’s growth and spiritual maturity in their daily lives. Workbooks are necessary and are available free of charge. Awards are given at the end of the year and individuals are recognized for their achievement and are used as motivation to help children learn key verses and principles that will help them share their faith.
The AWANA Cubbies Program is for any preschool child age 3 to 5 years and meets in the preschool area. The AWANA Sparks Program is for any child in Kindergarten through grade 2 and they meet in the Children’s Church area under Combs Hall. The AWANA Truth and Training Program is for any child grade 3 through 6 and they meet in Old Fellowship Hall. Please ensure that any child participating wears shoes befitting safety during game time (so no flip flops please).
Parents and guardians are encouraged to take an active part in their children’s group and anyone is welcome to visit or volunteer on Sunday evenings. Please call the church office at 865/482-5483 and leave a message for the Commander Sandra Bentley if you have any questions.
Children's Bible Drill

Mission Friends
Preschoolers age 4 to 5 years are introduced to missionaries both in the U.S. and abroad. They learn about different countries and customs and how they can help the missionaries share the Good News of Jesus Christ. They also learn ways they themselves can be missionaries in their own community.
Girls in Action (G.A.'s)
G.A.'s continues the mission emphasis for girls in grades 1 through 6. The girls participate in ministry projects as well as learn more about their part in supporting national and international missions.
Royal Ambassadors (R.A.'s)
Boys in grades 1 to 6 combine camping and outdoor skills with ministry projects to provide opportunities to further learn about missions. They learn how they can be "ambassadors for Christ" in today's changing world.
